With Thrive, we want to continue to reward and thank our loyal, supporting customers. So Thrive provides ongoing discounts to your electricity bills for as long as you are a customer.
Thrive is available to our residential or business customers who use less than 30 kWh of electricity per day. There are also some additional eligibility criteria in our terms and conditions.
No. We will handle it all for you and notify you when your friend has successfully transferred to us.
Yes. A referred customer receives $35 sign-on credit and any applicable establishment fee is waived.
Thrive Discounts are additive. The more referred customers, the greater the Thrive Discounts.
You can even go all the way to a total of 100% discount on your electricity charges.
If a customer you introduce to us decides to leave, any Thrive Discount attributable to that customer is removed.
That’s ok, if you introduce another friend you can get more Thrive Discounts.
Yes. Thrive Discounts are available if you pay your bills in full by the due date.

We apply a Thrive Discount of 2% on your usage and daily supply charges for every friend that joins us.
(5 referred accounts / customers = Thrive Discount of 10%).
These discounts continue as long as your friends stay with us.
There is no cost for our customers to join the Thrive program. You can refer one friend to get started.
Yes. You can refer residential and business customers anywhere in VIC, SA, NSW, and Qld (Energex only) to help you increase your discounts.
We will notify you by email when your friend’s transfer is complete. Thrive Discounts will then be added to your account, applying from the start of your next billing period.
When you pay your bill on time with direct debit, Thrive Discounts appear as a credit on your next bill (please note we are updating our billing system to show Pay on Time and Thrive credits applying for the actual billing period).
Thrive Discounts apply to energy usage and supply charges, before any solar credits are taken into account. This is great news if you have solar as it may lead to a more significant saving.
Yes. You can take your Thrive Discounts with you to your new property with us in NSW, Qld (Energex only), Vic or SA.

Thrive Discounts are available when you pay your bill on time.
If you miss a payment or have an outstanding amount that has not been fully paid, we are unable to provide a discount for that period. When you get back on track the relevant discount will be applied.
