Reference Price (VDO)
Electricity plans must be compared to a Victorian Default Offer (VDO) set each year by the Essential Services Commission to make it easier to compare energy plans across the market in each region. The VDO is calculated based on a customer consuming 4,000 kWh per year on a single rate tariff in this region and does not include conditional discounts, solar feed-in credits, concessions / rebates or other fees.
