Shepparton Biogas (LMS Energy) was part of our innovative renewable generation portfolio from 2018 to 2022.
In co-operation with City of Greater Shepparton Council, LMS’ Shepparton Renewable Energy Facility converts landfill methane gas to energy to power over 2,200 individual electricity users in the local community. Since commissioning in April 2009, the facility has generated over 43,000MWh of base-load renewable electricity, and abated over 258,000 tonnes (CO2e) of carbon.
