Our generation

We have been supporting renewable energy across Australia for over 20 years and we’re just beginning.

We deliver more electricity sourced from renewables to the grid than our customers consume.

By becoming a customer, you can support sustainable and affordable energy.

Oakey 2
Oakey 2 Solar Farm

The Oakey 2 Solar Project is a 55 MW solar generation development located near Oakey, West of Toowoomba in Queensland. The generating plant connects to the Ergon Energy network near Toowoomba. The technology is solar photovoltaic panels mounted on solar tracking structures which will maximize production of energy throughout the day. The solar farm has a total of 205,920 panels consisting of:

  • 31,590 of 335W panels
  • 125,550 of 340W panels
  • 48,780 of 345W panels
The above PV modules make up a total nameplate capacity of 70 MWdc and the project has a connection agreement with Ergon Energy to export up to 55 MWac. The project is capable of generating approximately 130 GWh of electricity in a calendar year.
