Once you are set up with LAVO Energy-as-a-Service (LAVO EAAS), your Diamond Energy electricity bill includes charges for the use of the solar and battery system. It’s simple, affordable, hassle free and there are no upfront costs.
To access LAVO EAAS you will need to have a LAVO Energy-as-a-Service Lease Agreement in place and be a residential electricity customer of Diamond Energy that has opted into LAVO EAAS.
Register your interest to be contacted by LAVO for information, options and to assess eligibility.
You’ll be sent a LAVO Energy-as-a-service Lease Agreement and details on how to switch your electricity supply to Diamond Energy with LAVO EAAS.
Once your eligibility is confirmed and your solar and battery system is up and running, we’ll activate the LAVO EAAS by adding you to our Virtual Power Plant fleet.
LAVO EAAS is available as an add-on to our readily available market offers for residential customers in VIC, NSW and QLD (Energex-only).
If you are located in SA, you can register your interest as LAVO EAAS is planned to be made available in additional regions soon. LAVO EAAS is not available for residential properties listed with life support equipment.

LAVO EAAS provides a BASIC and PREMIUM option with the charges shown below for each plan type.
You’ll be charged a LAVO Green Plan Service Fee (just like a monthly subscription fee) and receive electricity at no cost for your use from the solar and battery system up to the LAVO Green Plan Cap each day. Any additional electricity you use from the solar and battery system is charged at a low, fixed rate.
The excess electricity exported to the grid will be foregone through a LAVO Solar Feed-in VPP Charge – this just offsets your Feed in Credits.
An additional Metering & Data Charge of $0.60/day will also apply.
The LAVO EAAS charges are fixed for the term of your LAVO Energy-as-a-Service Lease Agreement and are inclusive of GST.
You’ll receive Diamond Energy’s readily available market offer in your region with LAVO EAAS as an add-on. Any discounts or other benefits of Diamond Energy market offer will continue to apply.

No, there is no limit to how much electricity you can use.
Additional electricity that you use is sourced from the electricity grid and included in your Diamond Energy electricity bill.
There is no lock in contract with Diamond Energy.
Residential customers that are receiving LAVO EAAS will receive the same rates and discounts as all customers in your region.
You can leave Diamond Energy at any time by switching to an alternative electricity retailer. You can contact LAVO to discuss options to novate, buy-out or terminate your LAVO Energy-as-a-Service Lease Agreement or to continue your agreement with additional separate monthly charges to apply.
Diamond Energy may provide the billing and collection services for these charges.
