Glenorchy Biogas

In co-operation with Glenorchy City Council, Sustainable Energy Infrastructure’s (SEI’s) renewable generation facility converts methane gas extracted from landfill into electricity sufficient to power 1,600 homes.

Since commissioning in 2006 the facility has generated in excess of 119 GWh of renewable electricity.
