Electricity plans must be compared to a Reference Price (Victorian Default Offer) set each year by the Victorian Energy Regulator to make it easier to compare energy plans across the market in each region.  The Reference Price is calculated based on a customer consuming 4,000 kWh per year on a flat rate tariff in this region and does not include conditional discounts, solar feed-in credits, concessions / rebates or other fees.  Your actual energy bill may be significantly different and will depend on your actual electricity usage, when you use electricity and if you have solar.
