In co-operation with the City of Greater Bendigo, LMS’ Bendigo Renewable Energy Facility converts landfill methane gas to energy to power over 1,800 individual electricity users in the local community per annum. Since commissioning in July 2008, the facility has generated over 51,000MWh of base-load renewable electricity, and abated approximately 385,000 tonnes (CO2e) of carbon (as of Nov 19).
