Hobart Biomass

 

In co-operation with Hobart City Council, Sustainable Energy Infrastructure’s (SEI’s) renewable generation facility converts methane gas extracted from landfill into electricity sufficient to power 1,000 homes.

Since commissioning in 2006 the facility has generated in excess of 74 GWh of renewable electricity.
