Our generation

We have been supporting renewable energy across Australia for over 20 years and we’re just beginning.

We deliver more electricity sourced from renewables to the grid than our customers consume.

By becoming a customer, you can support sustainable and affordable energy.

Williamsdale solar farm
Williamsdale Solar Farm 1

The Impact Investment Group’s Williamsdale Solar Farm is approximately 20 km south of Canberra. It has about 30 hectares of solar panels, mounted on a single axis sun-tracking system that can increase output by up to 40% over conventional fixed panels.

As of the 5th of October 2017, the solar farm is expected to produce enough electricity to power the equivalent of 3,600 households. The Impact Investment Group expects the solar farm to abate 460,000 tonnes of CO2 emission over the facility’s lifetime.

It’s one of the seed assets in the Impact Investment Group’s Solar Income Fund, an offer to wholesale investors who are seeking high yielding returns while contributing to Australia’s transition to a low carbon economy.
