Diamond Energy Supporting Regional Solar

Diamond Energy is proud to be the chosen retail electricity partner for Solar Systems concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) Solar Power Station. The station is located in Bridgewater, Central Victoria and was developed by Solar Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Silex Systems Ltd.

This partnership confirmed Diamond Energy’s commitment to solar electricity and Regional Australia. The official opening took place on the 28th June 2012 at the facility in Bridgewater, approximately 190km from Melbourne. It was attended by local dignitaries including both sides of Victorian Parliament, as well as key staff from both Silex and Diamond Energy.

This facility has a capacity of 600 kW and operates with world leading PV cell conversion efficiency of 40%, approximately double the efficiency of typical standard solar panels.
